After many fallen-through offers, I really need to sell this. It's a stock 17" iMac Core Duo and I'm asking $1100 shipped ($1130 via PayPal) to the contiguous 48 states only. I am in desperate need of portibility, as my roadtrip is rearing up on me. PM if interested and for pics.

you say stock 17 inch, so it just has 512 mb of Ram? Is it hard to open the iMac upand install RAM? Also is it in good condition?

I have a laptop I am selling, if interested...

You may want to put that in your posting, 99% of people looking to buy want to do paypal for various reasons. I myself have been watching this thread because soon I plan to buy an iMac. But now I know the details.

Good luck with your sale.

Rob

Well, I've thought about it, and I've decided to sign up for PayPal, and have, so I will accept that, but if decided to pay via PayPal, the price would be $1130 shipped. Once Again, PM me if interested. Thank you!

Why the extra charge? Are you referring to the fee they charge?

They only charge that if the person pays via credit card. BUT, what if they are paying with cash through PayPal, there are no fees, so would the price be the $1100?

paypal still charges the seller a fee if the buyer pays with cash. It's not like they're going to run this service without charging someone a fee somewhere, and the way they do it is by charging the person who receives the money. So I assume the OP is charging $30 extra to cover that cost.

they charge the fee no matter what. but you shouldn't adjust price accordingly. Especially considering you can get the stock 17" core duo imac from apple for $1099

Alright, I didn't know that adding the extra $30 would effect this iMac so much.

$1100. Period.
