Would you sell the 2 gig's of RAM seperate? If so I am very interested!

I bought a MacBook last week and had a defective surface on the lid, so I took back today, and got a new black MacBook that HAS NOT been opened as of yet. It is completely stock, with the 2 Gig sticks of Omni Technologies RAM wrapped in their protective packing, new and unused. I have thought about selling this and just sticking with my desktop for now. If there is any interest on here, great. If not, I may ebay it or keep it.

For the black MacBook and 2 x 1GB RAM sticks, I would ask $1675 Shipped via UPS Ground.

$1499.00 - MacBook Retail
$ 105.00 - 7% Tax
$ 160.00 - 2 x 1GB RAM Sticks
__________
$1764.00 Total Retail Price

Remember, the computer and the RAM are in their new packaging, unopened.

Any interest?

You can return it now for a full refund. That is what I did with my Macbook Pro. I exchanged it for a new one, and just returned that one, they should of given you a new receipt.
so you dont need to lose $100.

It is possible... I would do $170 shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

I only accept Money Order for Payment. I got burned by PayPal once to many times... Sorry

This Apple Store isn't so generous. They are going to hit me for the 10% restock since they took back the other one. I may just keep this since there doesn't appear to be much interest.

iMac G5 2.1GHZ 2GB ram 250GB HDD Superdrive??

be very careful with dndcomputers. He scammed a member last week at Mac-Forums.com out of that imac and has yet to make good with him. He will not respond to emails or messages.

It is a Intel iMac 2.0GHz

2.0GHz Intel Core Duo with 2MB shared L2 cache
2 GB (2 1GB stick) 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
250GB Serial ATA hard drive

hey, this is the member of mac-forums that dnd scammed.

he is in the process of working things out..

but all in all.. it was just a sketchy transaction and i would never deal with him again.
that, however, is just me.

the imac he is trying to trade you is MY imac..

it is a great machine.

I have an Ibook G4 thats 8 months old, with 2+ years of Applecare remaining.
Mint condition with a radtech sleeve and radtech screen protector. The unit was a custom build at the Apple Store:

1.42 Ghz
1 GB Ram (Cruicial)
80 GB Hardrive
Superdrive

Could work something out with cash besides.

While we're at it.

I also have a 20" 2.1GHz Imac G5. With 2.5GB of ram and a 250G harddrive and superdrive.

The machine was bought 2 months ago from apple easton and then I maxed the ram out on it. The ram upgrade (a single 2GB chip) was a $300 upgrade.

I may be interested in trading also... but you don't have to worry about me scamming you, I've dealt with many folks here and all sales have gone off without a hitch.

Let me know if you're interested... :)

Truth be told, I prefer to stay mobile. While the idea of an iMac is tempting, the reality is, I have a Dual 2.5GHz G5 on my desk. I want the mobility to still do things on the go.

I would really entertain the offer of trading a newer PowerBook 12"... Anybody got one for trade?

How much would you want for just a 1gb stick of memory? (I believe the macbook and macbook pro's memory are the same, right?)

For 2GB of new RAM? That's a pretty solid price.

I've got a fantastic little 12" PowerBook 1.33GHz that I bought for university in August, 2004. I take impeccable care of it, so it's in prime condition. No bumps, dead pixels, scratches on top side, nothing. I would call it mint, but that would be a misuse of the word since mint technically means something that's never been used at all.

Brand new 60GB harddrive when the old one died a month ago (replaced for free under AppleCare), over a year of AppleCare left, and maxed 1.25GB RAM. Bluetooth and Airport Extreme were standard.

Battery life is incredible...coconutBattery reports 90% of original charge (3995mAh of 4400mAh) after 367 charge cycles. I ***** you not :)

I also have an iSight I'd throw in if you traded the MacBook, since I would no longer need it.

If interested, PM me an offer!

EDIT: Also have an Apple wireless mouse that could be thrown in the pot, if interested.
