Widescreen gaming

Well, got my MB now and have been really looking forward to playing the odd game in widescreen.

I have a copy of Return to Castle Wolfenstein and it's a game I love. On 640 x 480 on the MB (default res after installation) it fits the screen, albeit it with black bars at the sides. But when I set it on the only widescreen res (about 800 x something) it displays in the top left corner of the screen.

Can I make it fit, or do I have to make do with the black bars? :(

This is from memory so may not be entirely correct, but open the console (press ~ I think) and type:

seta r_displayWidth 1280
seta r_displayHeight 800
seta r_customAspect 2

If it doesn't like "seta" then try "/seta" instead.

Restart the game once you've typed the commands.
