Hi there,

I have a 14" iBook at 1GHz that I'm considering selling, and I was wondering what sort of price people think this is worth. I don't use the laptop very much, so it's in fantastic shape with no broken pixels, major scratches, cracks, no nothing. It has a 30GB hard drive, 256MB RAM, a combo drive, and a very good battery. It supports Airport Extreme, but doesn't have a card at the moment. Those cards are going very cheap on eBay, in case one wanted to upgrade.

The laptop is running Mac OS X 10.3 Panther, and includes all original discs (pretty sure I've still got them stashed away). Unfortunately, I lost the box :(

What do you think it's worth?

If you find someone that wants a 14", probably could get ~$550-600. Might be a little high though.

Wow, I'd be very happy with a price like that! I'd sell it in an instant :)

Anyone else?

To tell you the truth, I think $600 is pushing it...you might want to get a cheap airport card to stick in there, just so you don't have to mention it needs one when listing it...might be worth it. Maybe with an airport card you could get $550.

I'd say 450-475

Whoa, hey! Didn't expect this to get resurrected :p

I'm afraid I don't have any pictures of it at the moment and my schedule's a little crammed right now. I also still haven't decide whether or not I'm going to sell, even though I've received a few offers to buy.

If I do decided to sell, I'll post pictures here whenever I get a chance to take them. Thanks for the interest!
