In a print ad touting digital music solutions, a recent Gateway ad features an urban hipster jamming to tunes on his notebook--a PowerBook G4 Titanium notebook to be specific. Gateway said the inclusion of the Mac notebook was a production error and said the ad ran in just one publication in December before being pulled.

The above is from cnet. I have noticed a lot of this over the years with our PC companies, it seems the advertsing departments doesnt even know the products they sell.

Ha, thats pretty funny! :D
It seems like they could at least tell it wasn't a Gateway before they put the ad in.

Most likely Gateway hadn't given them the laptop computer to photograph so they had to put in something as a placeholder. They just forgot to change it. :D
It's as bad as those screens in OfficeDepot and other office stores' flyers where they have Internet Exploder for Mac running on a Windows machine.
However, remember, no one uses Macs. :D
