Yes, I know it's free, but the discs take FOREVER to get here, plus I don't have a PPC Mac anymore, and I want to run it on my MacBook, so unless the PPC disc will work with the MacBook I'm offering $5 shipped for a working Intel (Mac) Ubuntu disc!

You got broadband? You got a CD? Download 6.06 Live CD from ubuntu and burn it to a cd. It's 700mb or thereabouts. You should be able to download in an hour or so.

You do know that you can download it for free, right? You can burn ISO images with Disk Utility.

I don't see the mention of a Live CD there...

You shouldn't need a special Mac liveCD....

6.06 by default boots into a live graphical and fully functional operating system. If you want to install it there's an icon on the desktop you double click and it goes through the (again graphical) install process. If you don't bother clicking that, it remains a Live CD and doesn't touch the hard drive.

If none of that works out for you, and you can wait a week until I get back to Knoxville, I will mail you a copy of both the PPC and Intel discs. PM if you decide you need it.
