Hello!
This is a major feeler in the sense that I'm more or less just testing the waters. I'm curious as to how much you folks think my G5 would go for on the current Mac-market...I likely won't sell it for some time, as it's my baby and I love it, but you never know...maybe a solid deal will come along that will test my mettle?
In any case, here are the specs:

Powermac G5
Dual 2.0 Processors (it's the version with the PCI-X slot, and the extra RAM slots)
3.5 gigs of RAM (2 256 MB, 2 512 MB, 2 GB, 2 empty)
Radeon X800XT 256 MB card
Airport Extreme card
everything else is standard, I believe (Superdrive, 160gb HD, 1ghz frontside bus, PCI-X slot, etc)

I also have it hooked up to two Dell 2005FPW (20" widescreen LCDs) displays.

So what say you? Like I said, I'm generally just curious as to how much machine I've got my hands on now...but it would also be nice to get some opinions as to how much the value might drop when the new MacPros come out.

Thanks in advance for any input you can give me!

-Colin

If you sold, you probably wouldn't need both of those monitors any more. Would you consider selling one?

If I sold, I might (then again, if I sold, I may end up getting a MacPro, in which case, I would keep both).

What is the Apple model number for this machine?

Model number...hmmm...where would I find that? Is that the serial number in the hardware overview? Or is it on the machine itself somewhere?

Thanks =P

Ah.
If I'm looking in the right place (CPU Type:) it says it's a PowerPC G5 (2.2).
