Browse the Forums? If you browse the forums, how many hours per day?
I personally spend about an hour a day i think and I do it everyday but i know there are quite a few ppl like those top ten posters who must spend way more time than that.

A lot.
Usually 2 hours of the course of the day. Sometimes I don't check the boards for weeks, but I always come back.
During last summer I did some 24 hour pulls. Was quite fun. I earned my moinker of "Mr Spam" then too. I got my 'tar then too.

I work in one computer and in the other one I have the site all the time while the other computer is rendering or importing stuff. I check the paper too and the Outlook is on all the time but I'm always around the site because it changes very fast and I can spare time here.
I whish I could get some money out of that too:rolleyes:

A lot, an awful lot. I would say between 5 and 7 hours a day.

11-15 hours per day minimum... :D
Actually, I'm probably on around 1-3 hours per day.

5-6 hours daily on work days but very little over the weekend.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Gateway for all the extra time I have to persue my interests surfing Mac sites all day. :D

i probably spend about 2-3 hours a day here at MR. i really should try to lessen that, and start focusing on other stuff, but oh well. :)

>Check the Front Page?
Hardly ever. I usually pull down the menu I made in my Bookmarks bar under Forums and click on Macrumors. That takes me to the Forums page.
>Browse the Forums?
Oh, yeah.
>...how many hours per day?
Depends on schedule. Sometimes I am without internet access altogether, or am too busy with other material to even go on the internet. In such cases the time in hours is 0.
Other times, I have a free weekend, so I can spend up to, maybe 4 to 6 hours, depending on the activity online and if I am doing anything else.

I am on MacRumors each day for a couple hours probably. Sometimes it is less than that, and sometimes it is more than that. It just depends.

Probably about 2 hours a day. 1 hour in the forums and 1 hour refreshing the homepage!

there's nothing that wrong with that. but i have to say, it's not difficult to post A LOT without spamming. you just have to stay on topic and involve yourself in conversations and arguments. that's what i try to do outside the geek thread (though less so in the community forum than in other areas).

I don't want you to stop. if you have something to contribute in a news discussion or otherwise, i am glad to hear it. if you just want to chat with people, there are threads in the community forum where you can do so (like the geek thread, as jelloshotsrule pointed out). but posting just to get an avatar, just putting random trash into threads that's neither relevant to the prescribed topic nor the topic at hand is just rude. it's not that your input isn't welcome at all, kwyjibo; we're glad to have you contribute. but poorly done spamming (see vniow for pointers on well done spamming) is looked down on here pretty universally.

I'm on MR too much. I should try to get some diversity in my
life and maybe chat with my friends on AIM.... :o ;)
