This is a dumb question but i can't figure out. How do i get a icon below my name?

it's an avatar...u get the luxury of putting one on when u hit 500 posts...

just don't get caught up in the race of reaching 500 posts with useless posts...

or else get bitch slapped... :eek: ;)

So actually, there are two ways of getting an avatar.

One method is to put your time in, post when you feel the need, contribute... be a resource to the MacRumors community.

The other technique we call "vniow." :D :p

you can also contribute to the site, you'll get a mug and Demi-God status here, access to the private forums and an avatar, regardless of post count.

Hey, there's an art to spamming, it takes a certain level of skill and technique, you must also be a responsible spammer that sets an example, how do you think I got to be the Spam Queen?

Sorry, but contributing does not automatically give you avatar status. You still need 500 posts.

The only other method is to win an avatar contest.
