Apple & Maine's Laptop Program a Success

Results coming in are reporting that Maine's laptop plan for students is working better than expected so early.

This is certainly encouraging news, but we will have to see what the long-term effects are. It may be years before Apple gets another contract like Maine's.

I had always wished my high school would have done something like that, but as I see now, the technology and the pricing just was not there.

Today, with airport and cheaper/more durable/education-oriented configs, kinda makes me want to be an 8th grader in Maine, lucky kids.. hope they don't abuse them.
