Sims 2 Macbook performance?

Can't seem to find any feedback on this but does anyone have The Sims 2 running on a 1.83 MacBook? If so whats it run like as I cant try it out as they don't do a demo and don't want to buy it if its unplayable.

I run the Sims 2 + both EPs on my MB 2Ghz with 2GB ram and it runs great. I use to have it on my 12" Powerbook and it ran fine on it, but the resolution on my MB is far greater in the game. So I guess if you can max out the ram on yours you'll be fine.

K thx. I only have the 1.83 model but intend to bump the ram to min 1.25gb but hopefully 2gb soon.

it will run fine, apply the UB patch too of course...
