I am very interested in making a world of warcraft movie, i have noticed that alot of the very good wow movies use shots that would be impossiable to achive with a normal characters point of view. i am curious how they did it i assume that they used a "free camera" or "flyby" mod. if so where would i get one (mac or PC)...if not how on earth did they do it :p. hopefully you know what i am talking about.

I believe there is a mod to increase your max camera distance but there is no way to detach your camera fully from your character. Often times they acheive the effects by having a "camera man" who is playing in first person, sometimes mounted or even sometimes flying.

Wow Mapview allows you to view the entire world, minus the mobs. It is a separate app that uses the game files on your computer.
