Screen Blanking Out [Archive]

On my eMac, the screen keeps blanking out in the center, like there's a big black line down the middle and I can't get rid of it. What do I do?

Take it into a shop and get it repaired under warranty, asap. The eMacs manufactured before christmas had a potential flaw in the manufacturing, causing display problems. Your local AppleCare Certified Service Center should be able to take care of it.
