View Full Version : No more AirPort/Display menulets in menu bar?

So, i made the leap (plunge?) and up'd to 10.2.4, for better or worse. Shortly thereafter, my menu bar started doing this thing where it won't show the little AirPort or Display status menulets. All I have now are Sound, Battery, and Time & Date. Also, when I position the mouse cursor over this area, I get a spinning beach ball. This behavior is persistent through reboots (after which the checkboxes in System Preferences to show AirPort and Display statuses revert to unchecked). Anybody else seen this and/or have a remedy?

The only new software I've installed since upgrading OS X is CandyBar 1.5, and restoring default icon settings and uninstalling this app doesn't seem to help...

Hmmm...at some point after removing CandyBar, this "feature" went away. Guess I'll have to modify icons the old fashioned way...

Guess we can close the case on this one.
