MUG start up sugestions...?

I'm thinking about starting a Macintosh User Group where I live. Can anyone provide links to useful startup information; resources, ideas, suggestions?

I thought that the Apple site might have a section on this, but if they do, it isn't obvious.

I suggest that you contact other user groups directly. They've done what you want to do and might be glad to help.

Great idea, and one that I have already considered with an email to a Vancouver Island MUG this morning. Just wondering if there were any additional resources out there that people might be aware of. Thanks for the suggestion.

They have a decent site @ http://www.apple.com/usergroups/
it is hard to find, but if you looked in "contact us" or perhaps the support site you might have found it ;)
