I just now noticed the option of changing the syle from 'default' to OS X - it looks like a different board.
I'm just wondering, which do you use?

OSX since the very day/moment they made the option available. Even before all the buttons were working.

Wow, I was using default, and just changed it to OS X. It's a lot more different. I am going to keep it like this for a while to see if I like it.

I never knew that this option existed before you mentioned it. I too will try it out for a while to see if I like it.

OS X. Like alot of the other guys who posted above, I didn't actually realise the option existed until a while after I joined. I think the OS X style looks much better.

I believe the option became available first on September 28, 2002. That's when I first started using it at least and at that time the whole GUI wasn't fully functional.

Is this style option only in Mac OS X?

I don't believe so. Go to the user cp/edit options and scroll all the way to the bottom. It will be the option just above the avatar setting.

i just discovered the mac os x theme too! Its pretty cool, take a while to get used to, as everything is white, may turn down the brightness on my studio display! lol
Also I notice that the avatar bit seems a bit broken on my safari v62 , look next to the name in the pic below! Arn? is this just me?

Original. I tried out OS X for a while, and all it did was slow the browser down (IE, OW, and NS). Besides, OW doesn't render it right, so the 'title bars' are either shorter or longer than they should be. Maybe I'll try again some time though.

Go to User CP, then go to edit options. At the bottom of edit options there will be a thing that says "Style Set". Then, you can change it to OS X right there.

OSX theme all the way.
The default may be faster but the extra prettiness is well worth it.http://forums.macrumors.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=257466
The OS X theme is "unsupported" in that I just put it up to see how it looked, and never got around to tweaking it or removing it.

thanks arn, seeing as it looks so good in camino but not in safari, it may be one for the safari feedback button!

Hmmm.....this takes some time to get used to. I'll try it out for a week and see if I still like it at this point.
Cool feature, though.
