Dude, we get the picture. You don't like Macs.
Could you please stop going around the forum and taking a stab at everything made by Apple. Just say in ONE BIG POST, that you aren't an Apple fan and you want to go back to PCs. That way you won't upset anyone and you will appear a lot more grown up.

Dude, seriously, the only reason the dude from the mouse dept. at Apple should be fired is because he didn't bring out a wireless might mouse, they're also little things!
Cheers

Don't mind the mice so much as the keyboards. They really suck.

Mine is flawless, i love it.
Maybe you aren't using it properly?
You have to take your finger off the left side for the right click to be recognised.
Or, are you using it on a glass surface?
Rich.

one word: ergonomics
a mouse is a mouse, they all work the same, what makes mouse A different from mouse B is how it feels in your hand.

So then while I'm not keen on Apple mice, I at least have the sense to use a mouse that I do like.
Just get over it, not everybody is going to like a single mouse. Buy one that you like and use it. Job done.

because for a company that is dedicated to the perfect user experiance, why must the mouse be such a serious compromise

By the way, any rumors on a wireless version of the mighty mouse?

My Mighty Mouse doesnt appear to be touch-sensitive-it has to make the "click" to register-is this how it should be, cos I was under the impression it was like a 3G iPod.

Well then unless you expect Apple to come and take plaster moulds of your hand to make the perfect mouse, you're just contradicting yourself, Mouse A for one hand mouse B fon the other, theres no one shape. Stop being such a hater, and get lost to your windows forums!

the hockey puck, then the mighty mouse, how are you defending such horrible design?
this isn't a windows versus mac debate at all, i'm talking about mice here buddy
frankly i love what apple is trying to do, but they need to change a few things. they need some lenovo technicians to help them with their next laptop, some logitech technicians to help them with their next mouse, and a user experiance guru to make the horrible excuse for a finder usable.
the whole one mouse button thing was cute, the guy who invented the mouse, doug englebert, said his first mouse had only one button because that's how many he could fit on it at the time.
third party mice have as many as 5 buttons, and the improve usability enormusly.

...And you have choice. You can go buy any mouse you want and plug it into your Mac. Now leave us alone.
