For dogs I (the whole family actually) have a toy poodle, poodle/yorkie mix, a chocholate lab, a golden lab and a mutt.
Two cats, one fat all black one I named Rainbow and a calico.
6 birds, one Amazon, a Manday Conure, a very loud Canary, couple of finches and one Cocketiel
Some goldfish in a pond and that's about it at the moment.
Over time we've had ducks, iquanas, chemeleons, bunches of cocketiels, couple of lovebirds, bearded dragons, other various lizards and related things (newts, frogs anoles, turtles more I can't think of at the moment...) a 120 gallon saltwater fish tank and if I can tink of any more I'll post them but I'm all pooped out right now.http://forums.macrumors.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=252654

Three cats, 4 fish, 5 rats, and a hamster. Miraculously, nobody has eaten anybody yet.
Actually, the cats are more afraid of the rats than the rats are of the cats.

I also have a Shepard Rottweiler mix, and my mohter has this:

The one on the right is hers, the one on the left is my grandmother's. I don't like him, although my grandmother's is a complete peach. Champ is a rotten little weasel dog from hell.

one dog back at home. her name is zippy. and she's a bit of a slut... humping all sorts of things... including when a guy from columbia was interviewing me at my house.. she humped his arm. needless to say, i didn't get in...
once i'm on my own i plan to adopt some awesome dogs.... i'd say 2 at most...
but one animal just seems like it's making them lonely...

A mutt, but a very good dog - here's puppy pic...
She's also a fantastic frisbee dog. I've thrown the disk over 200' and she's caught in the air, starting at my side sitting down as I wind up for the throw. :D

2 dogs (hopefully 3 soon) - Gracie and Rosie
Gracie = rat terrier
Rosie = Collie/shetland sheepdog mix
About 10 cats hang around my house, we feed them, but they
aren't really ours. Just strays. We have only named one -
Wild Kitty. :D How corny. These cats multiply, it is kind of scary.
New cats every week. :o ;) .
Deceased animals:
4 chickens - Lucky, Zebra Woman, **** - what was that chicken's
name - oh well I forgot the 3rd one's name - Fred or something,
and last but not least - Pumpkin. Pumpkin was my childhood
chicken, and when she died, I cried and cried and cried. Me and
my mom. I was so mean to that poor chicken. I would run after
it, and then pick it up, and then throw it. :o kids... ;)
2 ducks - their names have always been a controversy, but I think
we settled on Mildred and Alfred. Gracie and Alfred were great
friends, but Mildren got eaten by a skunk :(.
1 ferret - squeeky. Great animals. Just smelly.
2 roaches - THIS WAS DISGUISTING - my sister had 2 pet roaches.
and these weren't huge rainforest roaches (for some reason I am
fine with those),these were the run-around-in-your-kitchen-scary-
as-hell-little-lots-of-legs-gross roaches. We had 2 in a cage and
they had like 99999999 babies. Disguisting little things. I HATE
roaches.......
A couple hampsters - all died for reasons other than old age.
One got stung by a wasp and swelled up like a blowfish (very
funny actually), and then it died :(. The others died from killing
each other, or Zach (a guy who works for my dad) forgot to feed
them when we were going out of town. Hampsters are kinda fun.
Lots of birds - One mean bird killed them all, and would eat
their eggs. It was a bad-ass bird. Mean as hell. That ****er
killed all (about 4) of the other birds, and then died of old age
eventually. They were all parokeets.
Fish - we have had various gold fish from time to time, but they
are too much of a hassle, so we 'let them go' - into the toilet.
Hey - they are happy now.....
I love animals. I hope to get a dalmation (the smaller the better)
and name it Eo. Dalmations are expensive though. ;) .
Oh well, those are my aminals (I always say aminals instead of
animals - just a bad habit).

>(iMook) does my sister count?
If she finds out you posted this, I will send you my best wishes, as you will probably need them.
Just one dog, about 200 guppies in a <100 gallon indoor fish tank, about 50+ comets in the outdoor ponds, at least 10-20 koi, and two plecos: One black and one gold.

I hope you have better luck with your dalmation than you did with your hamsters, parakeets, and chickens...
Edit: and ducks...
btw, do you live on a farm or what?

too many fish to count, two parakeets, two turtles that are now starting to get tooo big.
and of course the computers :p
the turtles names are bill and steve (they kinda like to fight ;) )
the parakeets names are chimera and camino
before they got renamed, the parakeets had very offensive names because my mom would yell curses at (somebody), the parakeets would hear it and they'd start chirping that word :p

1 Pomerian puppy. He is from my sister's litter of dogs. Her poms had puppies back in September. My girl and I call him TJ for trouble junior. This puppy was a funny one......one day my sister and her soon to be ex-husband couldn't find it......this little guy dug a hole into a pillow and hid inside it. She couldn't find that pup for two days. I found him by noticing that the pillow cover was moving like it was a water bed or something. Boy, he made a fuss at the airport when I took him with me to Nashville to give him to my girl for Christmas. He got everybody's attention.......no doubt about that! He cost my grandpa a parking ticket! We love him though.
My sister had two pomerians, 2 birds, a turtle, and fish. She had four dogs at one point and then four puppies. The landlord made her get rid of all but one that she has now. She spent $600 for the male pom and $1000 for the female pom.....this was during the time when my brother-in-law was in control of the spending and the spending was putting them in debt and on welfare while she was in college.....thankfully she got smart and got rid of him! He's mad she got rid of all the animals and stuff......he thinks he should get custody of the dogs like they are children!
