By storing your image on another web server, e.g. homepage.mac.com or space provided by your ISP. Then you just use the [IMG] tags to display the pic in your post.

yes, use that and then go into any picture software set to 100 KB (.jpg is smaller than most) or signup at macsnaps.com and get hosted there.

Preview is good for a small screen that doesn't need to be re-sized. Go to export ---> JPEG ---> save and check on size.
If lazy macsnaps.com
If not, resize image (uurrrgggg)

I would follow the above advice, with the qualification that you should resize the image if it is over 1024 pixels wide, just to be nice to people who have to look at these here ;).

after you save a photoshop image as a jpeg, as mrmacman mentioned, you get a 1-12 quality scale with a real-time size measurement, so you can make sure it is less than 100 K. have fun learning photoshop!

I'm at school now, i'll post my desk later.

Yeah, the album 'rockz'! So funny! Who else would have a track titled "****** her gently", I allways have a grin on my face when I'm listening to that track (as well as many others), I'm sure people on the train think I'm a bit odd :eek: :p

The photo on the main moniter [yes my displays at home are in a
"stacked" sort of layout :D ] is a shot i took in Kauai from a
helicopter. [its a photo scan]
