How do I make an application be able to run but not be in the dock??? I want to be able to run Direct Connect without it running in the dock... Thanks all

Because its always running and I hate the icon... any ideas???

this has already been discussed

you need dockless (http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=18195&db=mac)

but it only works for cocoa/carbon apps so something like kdx will not work with it

But the icon IS ugly I have to mention

have the dock setup up to hide. then you don't see any of it...

if hes that worried I would jsut change the icon to make it look like word or soemthing like that. This is yet another reason why apple needs to make iPorn.
