Is there a way to turn off graphics in Safari or Camino?

IE is pretty simple but cannot find a way in the other two.

How can you live without graphics...? that is like 2/3 of web pages... and how do you click submit if you can't see it?

I'm not sure about Camino, but in Mozilla the option is under Preferences --> Privacy and security --> Images Set the radio button to do'nt accept images.

Camino is Mozilla based, right? Hopefully that's the same.

mozilla has a "block images from this server" option when you ctrl-click on a image.

great for dealing with b.s. ads that take up so much bandwidth.

fairly certain safari doesn't do this... no clue for camino.

I'm not sure how you could use it to totally turn off all graphics, but PithHelmet does an excellent job of blocking ads, and I'm sure could be set to block all images.

Find it here (http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=18158&db=mac).

Lynx looks what I want, but, I'm a moron. Installed it but can't find it. I can only locate a receipt. IE and OmniWeb will let me turn off graphics, so i'll use them.

Thanks for the suggestions.

open a terminal and type

$ lynx

(no you don't type the $-sign...)

to find it...

$ locate lynx
