I was wondering, how much someone would be willing to pay for a Powerbook G3 with the following specs:
* Power PC G3 233mhz
* 96 MB RAM
* 20 GB HDD
* DVD Drive (includes DVD Decoder for DVD playback)
Extras included:
*3 PCMCIA Cards: 56k modem, DVD Decoder and 2 port USB.
* Original power cord
* Great leather case
* OS9 and Jaguar cds
* Apple Works 6 CD.
I an not necesarily selling but if I recieve any reasonable offers I will consider it. (Trades as well)

$400 is what I was thinking too. Not sure if I'm interested in buying, but maybe in a little while if you've still got it. I'll mark your username for future reference if you don't end up selling it soon.

I do not think that the DVD decoder will work in anything besides the Powerbook G3 series laptops, but I am not 100% sure so you might want to do some research and check. Thanks

Even if it did work, you would have to find a DVD drive to fit into the 3400.

I wouldnt consider it, i just saw refurbished emacs ( i know desk top ) for $ 699. pro speakers 700 g4, jaguar etc. Dont buy a system thats obsolete look for a little more. You buy into something that can hardly run anything current. Dont do it. If you have to have a portable shoot higher. otherwise keep looking.

Very true. Nothing below 500MHz is acceptable.

I have a 333 mhz PB that only has a zip drive.
Don't know what happened to the cd drive. I didn't buy new, but I am looking to sell, since I am typing away on my spanking new iBook 800. The PB also includes a mini-mouse, decent case, and an external USB cd-burner. Nothing special, it won't burn faster that 4x. Also, I can't afford to give much away, so the only SW included is the System Software that it was originally shipped with. I do not have the CD's, it will come with burned copies of the software that it was entitled to at the time of shipment. It has (amazingly enough, considering my less-than-2-months-old-iBook-already-has-2-of-them) NO dead pixels on its functional, but honestly, not super bright screen. I paid slightly less than $500 for this a year ago and would like to get $350 for it. Any takers? Please don't construe the $350 as firm, unmoveable or stupid. Contact me if interested.
