ok, I need a new car. I thought that I would try and get some donations from you guys. I would really appreciate any donations even under 20 (10 minimum because of paypal fees). All you have to send is around 20 bucks, and it adds up fast. To get some interest, this is what I will do. My paypal account is <removed>. Just to add some info, yes I do have a job, but most of my paycheck is going towards college and savings :)
My goal is $5000 right now. (aim high, right :) )
Some of the prizes are things I have laying around. (Laptop hard drive, iWork) Everything else is brand new in box!
The person to reach the $50 mark, (you don’t donate $50, its the one that takes the total above $50, you could donate $10 and receive the prize, as long as your $10 added on to previous donations is $50 or higher) will receive a Cruzer Micro 512mb USB Keychain drive
For the $100 mark, you will receive iWork 06 for, thats a $70 value
For the $200 mark, you will receive both Splinter Cell and Call of Duty for mac.
For the $300 mark, you will receive a Powerbook/iBook upgraded hard
drive 100gb, 7200 RPM (can also be installed in an external enclosure)
The person to reach the $500 mark will receive Parallels Desktop for Mac, an $80 value!
The person to reach the $700 mark will receive a Maxtor One-Touch 300gb External Hard drive.
Now, I stopped at $700 for two reasons, to see how successful this can be, and to allow any suggestions for prizes, a powerbook g4 15 inch might be in the prizes later on :)

Now there are about 76,000 people signed up on macrumors, and at the time of this post, there are 607 people online. So this should definitely be possible.
