A client has just got a Sony-Ericsson T68i mobile phone, which is Bluetooth-enabled... can it talk to his Mac? Has anybody had experience with this? Can it sync his contacts and calendars?

Yes it can sync and act as a GPRS modem for the mac etc....
I have one it works great, your client will need a bluetooth module either external or a mac that comes with one built in.

You can also link it up to the Address Book to send text (SMS) messages and display caller ID on your Mac screen when some one calls. If it is linked to your address book and you are on the phone when a second call arrives it displays a nice message on your Mac and gives you the option of switching calls or not answering the second call. An of course you can use Bluetooth File Exchange to send pictures and notes to/from the phone.

the phone's nickname is the "steve jobs phone"
its basically the only phone that does fully support the mac.
there are soem cool apps like romeo and clicker that turn it into a remote control for your mac.
