Hmmm, may be interested, how these sound without a sub? is the clarity good or does it get distorted once at high volume? What about power, how many watts does it have?

I haven't tried them with a sub. They have excellent bass response by themselves, which is how I am using them. But I like natural tight bass, if you want to shake the windows a sub would definatley be neccisary. The clarity is the exact reason I got them in the first place, speakers for this price don't get any more pristine than Boston. Reccomended Watts is 75. I have honestly heard no distortion, but I have an apartment so I keep them pretty quiet most of the time. I live in Lincoln park on Diversey if you would like to pick them up. Otherwise I would be more than happy to ship them up.
