I want to get a MacBook, and if I do, I'll just run Windows on that and won't need this DELL anymore.
Anyway, I was the original owner. Bought it because I needed a PC to run XP on for a few apps. Here's the specs:
DELL Dimension 2300
Pentium 4 2.0Ghz
256MB RAM
40GB HD
Fresh XP Home w/ SP2 will be installed
Intel Extreme Graphics (I think...don't really know. I know I use it with my 17" 1280x1024 LCD and it does fine.)
Dual Optical Drives (top=DVD-ROM, bottom=CD-RW...EXCELLENT for cloning CDs....works very awesome, I used it a lot for that, as it includes Roxio Disk Copier (one click disk copying)).
Floppy drive
Front USB/sound ports
DELL PS/2 Keyboard
DELL (Logitech) Optical Mouse
This thing actually runs XP really good. I use Photoshop CS, Office, etc. I play some light games on it as well. For being so old, I'm extremely surprised of how good the quality is. It has never had an issue and I'm amazed that it still runs XP and my apps so snappy. Anyway...
I have all the original boxes and disks and stuff...everything that came with it basically. The driver CD (which is better to get off the internet because of updates) and the XP CD. The little serial sticker thingy is on the side of the computer.
If you happen to be local (Upstate NY), I have a 17" DELL CRT that I can toss in, but there's no possible way I'm shipping that beast. :p
I only posted this on here, because I figured someone might need a PC so they can run some of their Windows apps or something. It's a reliable little tower and has served me well!
Excuse the bad quality pictures, it's like 100F here and I don't have any lights on or anything. I can take better, high quality ones in tomorrow's light.
