Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knows of a bubble bobble style widget game for OSX

I tried searching on Apples widget page but found nothing.

Hehe such an awesome game. If anyone should know of bubble bobble in any form for OS X then I'd be interested :p

Not Bubble Bobble at all, but I found a really nice, lightweight Tetris game for OS X, free, too. It's called Quinn, and it's on the Downloads section of Apple.com. It's a lot of fun, and goes well with OS X (visually).

Not Bubble Bobble at all, but I found a really nice, lightweight Tetris game for OS X, free, too. It's called Quinn, and it's on the Downloads section of Apple.com. It's a lot of fun, and goes well with OS X (visually).

Its still on the apple page! That's surprising. Simon Haertel, the guy who's responsible for developing it, got a cease and desist order from the original Tetris people. Its disappeared rather suddenly off of all the original download sites, but I'm glad to here its still available somewhere.

Speaking of Bubble Bobble, anyone know of a Bust a Move type game, either widget or normal game.
I'm gonna buy the DS version but I want someting to tide me over : ]

Mmm, I googled this, because I thought Bust A Move was a different game, but is this the sort of game you're looking for?

Someone posted a Flash version of a game like the one where you're a person at the bottom of the screen, and there are bubbles bouncing around, and you shoot up a sort of javelin on a rope thing at them, and pop them. I loooove that game. The flash version was okay, but not that great... I thought that game was called Bust a Move, but it must've been something else.

Awesome! That is Bust A Move.
Looks like a port of the one I used to play. Ahh good memories! : ]

The game you described sounds familair, are the "bubbles" actual moving around the screen?

Yeah, they bounce back and forth, up and down and moving horizontally also. I wonder if there is a DS version of it? :)

There's also always MAME, but you have to Google ROMs yourself. ;)
