Well I feel so wow now, I got the oppurtunity to chat with Chester and Mike Shinoda from my one of my favourite bands Linkin Park. I was looking on linkinpark.com and I search through the forums for a while to find what there names are on the board (uhh what a mission :)) and after 20mins , bam! both of them use AOL instant messenger! :) then I though, OMG what to say to rockstars :)

anyways.....

I was talking to Chester for 10mins and Mike only for 5mins. I was asking them stuff like, whats your stance on sharing mp3s . Chester was all for it, he said that he saw it as a positive thing. He saw it as a great for people liking and download there music. And if they like it enough they will buy there album. and further on he says record sales are bigger than ever.

I really wish I had turned on the save transcripts thing in ichat. I could have framed it. I turned it on so next time I can show you all .

After waking up with a hangover and almost getting in a fight and missing out some how should I say teen bondage. This totally made my day and the smile of my face isn't coming off for a long time. :)

they run vbulletin on there forums, so using it was a sinch, and there status's on the forums

Chesters is 'Linkin Park Dominator'
and Mikes is 'Street Soldier General '

So happy searching there names and aims, I'd give them to you but it took me ages so you can enjoy it also :)

Well the insanely cool thing is they are mac users, on the Linkin Park DVD I have they are all sitting round using Pro-Tools on OS9 (with powermacs).

And they use nothing but AIM, so I'd say they use ichat or adium or something.

wow..... OS 9. They need to update. Well, OS 9 is speedy.

I'm glad to hear they use macs.

Have you seen the new music video? Forgot the name of the
song, but the video is pretty cool.

You have to keep in mind that its an old DVD. its the DVD to there album hybrid theory. I'd say they'd be using OSX with protools 6.

There new song is called 'Somewhere I belong' . Its an awesome song, I love it

Yeah, that's it. It is pretty good. Not the best I've heard from
them, but certainly not bad. It would be better if it sounded
different from the rest of their songs, but it sounds kind of like
all their other songs. They need a song like 'with you'. I love
that song. :D

hmm I would have asked for an advanced copy of the new album..... who wants to wait those ten extra days...thats a really cool story... and for the future I always save my iChats, they are sometimes useful in winning bets :)
