wow. It doesn't work quite as well for smaller numbers (under 10).

Well, there are only so many numbers it can be (when working
with intergers), like (90-9) 81, (80-8) 72, (21-3) 18, and all of
them are multiples of 9. And all the numbers that are multiples
of 9 have the same symbol, but it changes each time. A very
clever trick, but not too hard to figure out. :rolleyes: ;)

that first one's pretty much the same as edesign's, and the second one, all of the cards disappear, but good nonetheless.

there's no trick to it. since most people dont concentrate on the details of the other cards, they assume that their card is the only one that disappears. try picking 2 cards. they're both gone. try picking all of the cards, write them down. magically, all of them change.
