I am selling my intel iMac because it is too fast of a computer for me and I am getting a mac mini, which
is much cheaper and will be plenty fast. The iMac is in great condition and has no problems w/ original Box and DVD's (Tiger and Software).

Intel iMac Specs:

Intel Core duo 2ghz processor
20" screen
2 GB of ram
256 MB of VRAM
Bluetooth and Airport Extreme
Superdrive
250GB Hard drive
Applecare Until Jan 16, 2009 (almost 2.5 years)

Extra Software included. The software will be sent in a binder with the CD keys attached. (if needed)
This software is ALL legal and original CD's.

Mac Software:

Roxio Toast 5 Titanium
Roxio Popcorn 1.0
Discus 2.51
Macromedia Contribute 2.0 CD and 3.0 Upgrade CD Key
TechTool Deluxe (Part of AppleCare)
Starcraft with Brood War Expansion CD

PC Software

Call of Duty 2 (6 CD's)
Battlefield 2 (3 CD's)
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004
Falcon 4.0 Allied Force
*Windows XP Pro

*Only provided to students. You must e-mail me a scanned copy of your student ID from a school e-mail address

Whats NOT included

**Keyboard and mouse not included as I am switching to a mac mini and do not want to buy a new
keyboard and mouse. You can use almost any USB keyboard and mouse when using the iMac.

**If you would like I can include a wireless keyboard and mouse from logitech. The mouse and keyboard
are probably about 4-5 years old and works pretty well. This would add to the shipping cost as
this would have to be sent in a seperate box, but it might be worth it if you do not have
a keyboard and mouse to use.

Pictures: My digital camera is broken so I am unable to take pictures of the iMac, but I am able to
take pictures of the iMac box and the software I am including.

This is a great machine and it will easily sell for more than $1500. I think your buy-it-now price is a bit high but it would last long anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if it ended close to $2000 but I think the neighborhood of $1800 is much more likely.

The cheapest you can buy a 20" iMac today from Apple is $1,399 plus $100 for tax for most of us. Plus another $100 if you wanted to increase the RAM to just 1.5GB. Plus another $100 for applecare (minus 6 months) and you are up to $1700. The value of the software is highly variable depending on the buyer. This still does not take into account the fact that this is not a refurb and it has twice the VRAM. $2000 is quite possible.

Good luck with your auction. It should do very well.

Do you think doing a buy it now price of $1950-2000 would be a good idea?

I would be happy with that amount.

The problem with buy it now in an auction format is that it disappears when the first bid is placed. So, no matter what it is set to, the BIN option will be gone by this time tomorrow.

What you may want to consider is changing the format to fixed price and setting the BIN price just above would you think you could get. Monitor the traffic to the page. If you are getting a lot of hits, leave it alone. If you are getting very many, drop the price a bit. I can't speak for anyone else, but when I am looking for things on eBay, I always look for BIN first.

I look for BIN as well. I don't have to deal with the hassle of trying to outbid others. When I sell, I sell buy it now as well. I just make sure my price is competitive based on previous listings.

Yeah, that sound about right to tempt the people who uses Buy-It-Now, try about $1900 if you expect real takers in the first three days or so.

PS. I noticed your auction already has a bidder, but thought I'd put in some input anyway.
