I am selling a lightly used 1GB stick of DDR PC3200 memory that was pulled from a Mac mini. The mini originally came as a stock machine but it was immediatly upgraded to 1GB of RAM. I recently sold the mini but I sold it with the stock 256MB stick.
This 1GB stick will work with G5 iMacs, G4 minis, and Power Mac G4s with DDR. This stick is 100% guaranteed by me to work with the above machines. The RAM itself is unbranded and was bought from Fry's.
I am asking for $40 shipped to anywhere in the continental US.
Edit: Price dropped to $40 shipped.

I went to the apple store to see how much they sold mini mac memory for under the education area and to my surprise there was no catagory for the mini mac. I wonder why?

No, while some G4 iMacs accept DDR memory, they all require laptop-size memory modules, SODIMMs. For future reference, if you have a 700MHz or 800MHz iMac, you need 144-pin PC133 SDRAM SODIMM. If you have a 1GHz iMac or later, you need 200-pin DDR PC2700 or greater SODIMM.

As someone who has obviously opened their Mini a couple times, how would you rate the process of changing the RAM? This would be for someone who has never opened their machine.

The first method I ever used to open the case was the wire method (http://www.macminihacks.org/viewtopic.php?t=12). It involves seperating 12 or so wires out from a CAT5 or similar cable, bending them into loops and catching the latches inside the mini. It was time consuming and frustrating but I eventually got it open with absolutly no damage to the case. I have used this 4 times.
I did eventually go out and get a putty knife since I was tired of how long it took with the wires. The first time you open a mini with an unaltered putty knife it may leave a little mark on the underside but only the trained eye would be able to pick it out. If you grind the edge of the blade down, it won't leave any marks at all.
If I was doing it again for the first time with the wire method, I would say its a pain in the butt and have an Auth Apple Rep do it for you. If I was doing it again for the first time with a putty knife, I would say its fairly easy and most people should be able to do it. With putty knife in hand, I would give it a 2 out of 5 on the difficulty scale.
