FEELER: iMac G5 20' 2.0 w/ 2 gigs of Ram and Apple Care

Hey Guys I have alittle over a year old iMac G5 2.0 ghz 20" w/ two gigs of ram and Apple Care still remianing about two years left. I was curious anyone know a ballpark i could get for one of these?

I've seen them go for more with apple care and 2 gigs of ram. Ill prob also would throw in mighty mouse and iSight.

First, I'd try to sell the ram apart. Then I'd craigslist that sucker for $1200 and start seeing people give you offers. Post lots of pictures and take the best offer. If it doesn't work out then reduce your price by 100 dollars and try again. Good luck.

It is possible it might sell for more, but not around here - I don't think.

The machine is dated. We're officialy in the intel age now.. and the only g5 macs that surpass that have dual chips in them.

Also, the better screen, built-in isight... a person who is buying an old imac might prefer to buy one with these features.

Might go for more... but the added ram and applecare make that decision.
