Just saw this over at Joystiq. Original article here: http://www.joystiq.com/2006/08/14/gamestop-lists-ea-compilation-for-psp/

here is the supposed game list:

* B.O.B. -- 1993 -- SNES and Genesis
* Budokan -- 1990 -- Genesis
* Desert Strike -- 1993 -- SNES and Genesis
* Jungle Strike -- 1993 -- SNES and Genesis
* Haunting Starring Polterguy -- 1993 -- Genesis
* Mutant League Football -- 1993 -- Genesis
* Road Rash -- 1992 -- Genesis, later on 3DO
* Road Rash II -- 1993 -- Genesis
* Road Rash III -- 1995 -- Genesis
* Syndicate -- 1995 -- SNES, 3DO, Jaguar
* Ultima: The Black Gate -- 1994 -- SNES
* Virtual Pinball -- 1993 -- Genesis
* Wing Commander -- 1993 -- SNES
* Wing Commander: The Secret Missions -- 1993 -- SNES

But this has not yet been confirmed by EA...I would be stoked to have some Mutant League Football with me wherever I go though. Shame there was no Mutant League Hockey mentioned :(

Is this some sort of last ditch effort to thwart homebrew on the PSP? Midway collection, EA collection, Sega collection etc...

The Sega collection looks like it would be awesome...I would buy it when its released.

Keep those demos coming as well...tama-run is so freaking hard.

B.O.B.!!!!!!!

I loved that game. Kinda felt like Lost Viking but with a cool robot.

Syndicate was also a surprisingly good game.

Road rash was awesome. I didn't play a lot of the rest.

Unless there's a Volume 2 also coming out this is a hugely disappointing list of games.

I havent enjoyed any of the collections they put together on the PSP yet....MK1,2,3 sucked so bad.....I was hoping for a good 2D MK.

Thats exactly what I am thinking, Its pretty cool especially if they can release these on budget prices it will surely put off many people homebrewing for retro games.....
