I have a 17 inch 1.5 ghz powerbook and I'm missing the restore discs. I am looking for someone that has them and would like to sell them or even better give them to me to do a fresh install. I would even send them back after I use them.
Thanks

I still don't think you'll be able to find a whole set for under $25 still.

But that's a very competitive price for what youre looking for.

I know that you can, And that's why I said a competitive price, not the lowest. That price form apple is good. A copy of ilife, trial software AND mac os for 43$, Thats not all too much.

No it's not really. I had trouble selling a set of restore disks for the last generation 12" iBook and finally ended up posting them for $20 and they sold.
And you can only install the iLife and OS on that particular model computer, so it's not really fair to compare them to the price of iLife and Tiger retail versions.

If those other ones don't work, I have a set of Powerbook 15/17" Install CDs in my thread: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=221511. They're 10.3.7 discs though. Someone's called dibs on the set already so I'm just waiting for the payment to go through.

Right but it's still ilife and all the apps on there, so it does still count. None the less I knwo I cant compare them to the retail prices, but it does add to the reason and such why they are priced above $20 usually.
On craigslist I sold a set for a 15" powerbook rev B for $35 w/ local pickup, so that is where I am basing my pricing.
