I'm getting ready to sell my iBook G4, but being the wonderful community that this is, I would like to give you a shot at it first.

This iBook has served me extremely well during my first two years of college. I thought about upgrading but figured the money that I would use to upgrade would be better spent towards a new machine.

This is a clean looking iBook with normal wear and tear on the top and bottom of the case. A few of the key letters have worn off a bit. Only the A is completely gone. There is a VERY small imperfection with the display. It is from the keyboard. So small it took me two trips to the local Apple store to show them where it was so they could tell me it was too small to be covered. This is the only problem with this machine.

Processor: 1.2 Ghz
Screen: 14 inch
Memory: 512 MB (256 built-in)
Hard Drive: 60 GB
Optical: SuperDrive DVD+/-RW
Mouse: Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse
Wireless: Airport, Bluetooth
ORIGINAL BOX and CDs included for 10.3
JUST UNDER ONE YEAR OF APPLE CARE LEFT!

I don't guess there is anything else? I will be posting pictures shortly. I will take no less than $700 for it. $800 or best offer at this point or it goes to eBay. PayPal is the way to go, I suppose. If you'd like to do something else it is possible.

Since this is a feeler, I guess it's appropriate to tell you that you're absolutely dreaming if you think you'll get even $700 for a G4 iBook, especially one that's not close to mint.

If my buddy gets $550 for a 1 Ghz ibook with a crack in the case(which means it was dropped), combo drive, 256 ram, no AP/BT, and a glaring screen spot-- I think 700 for mine isn't far off

I bet you could get around 700 for it. I mean, it does have applecare, superdrive and a big hard drive. don't get me wrong, i have seen them go for cheaper, but you should get at least 650 for it, or there abouts. try craigslist, you would probably have some bites on there.
