If you had any Mac laptop and it had a problem with powering off and you were going to send it in for service would you back up your data, or take a chance send it in a box and give it to a delivery man and hope it comes back with all your information?

No, of course I wouldn't take a chance. Why would you? Backing up is not that tricky.. and you should kinda do it regularly anyway :eek:

Well, whilst I answered 'yes' in this poll - this isn't quite the reality when something goes wrong. I use iDisk to back up automatically each day - but I'd imagine there would be some people who really couldn't back up due to their portables actually failing.... so they have a harddrive probably that can't be accessed until it's fixed - and they can't back that up.

The answer of course is 'yes', but it's understandable that some people don't, given that Apple certainly doesn't seem to stress its importance.
