There are no differences, save the platforms they're running on.

I hate when you entered to a scenario and in the middle of the game you realise that it was rigged and that you will loose no matter what

BTW are there any good web-pages to help design maps?

I remember playing this game -- about 10 years ago. I think its amazing the game has held up as along as it has.

World of Warcraft has my soul now.

Just to underline the fact: There are NO difference between the mac version and PC-version of the game, most version you get to buy are hybrid (they work on both mac and pc), and even cd-keys from PC-only versions will work.

If anyone is in for a game, contact me on aim, I get kicked around badly at bnet, so don't hesitate :(

By the way, is WGT compatible with macs now?

Hey if anyone is interested, starting tomorrow, Circuit City is selling the Starcraft Battle Chest for $8. Great for anyone that wants the game, or for people that lost their old one, such as myself.

count me as another sc player. i play wc3 more regularly but still play sc here and there. played it since it came out though, and I still rank it as the best game of all time. my computer upgrade path revolves entirely around starcraft 2. my name on sc is the same as on here, add me to your friends list (/f add rocksaurus) on battle.net and message me if i get on and you wanna play!

I ust picked the game up @ BB with a PM from the CC flyer. They had 1 left @ CC and it had a broken seal. 8 bucks, you can't beat that.

Does anyone know how to toggle between the game screen and my desktop? On windows you press the windows button. Could I just use Expose (all windows)?

command-m

in windows world (at least with regards to WC3), toggling windowed mode, causes you to lag (sometimes alot, pissing off alot of allies/foes in custom games)....

on a mac, however, it doesnt.

ROCK ON.

one of the greatest things about starcraft is how well blizzard balanced all the sides. I used to get my butt kicked by zergling rushes but blizzard managed to fix that by making spawning pools more expensive. This actually led to a couple of wins on my part in battle.net :). I was so proud that I could actually beat people on b.net :D

Well, if you just recently started getting on b.net and play in TvB, a lot of hosts are morons, and put all the veterans on their own teams while putting all the people with "0-15-2" records on the opposing team. So it might not be you, might just be stacked teams.

I went to Circuit City today. They didn't have any Battle Chests left =( Blah

Old wise ones
I seek knowledge.
Please...
I have STARCRAFT that I played on my old 7500 200 back in
college and it played fine.
I now have a G5 and it will not run on it eventhough
I have the old operating system OS 9
installed on it.

What is wrong?
