Buy the phone..take it to them..and tell them you want to switch that phone, onto your current plan, and they will do the rest

Sometimes if you take it to the store or call customer service, they'll charge you $20 or something. Another way to do it is go online, log onto your VZW account, scroll to the bottom to the picture of your phone and click on activate equipment. Type in the ESN/DEC number and the reason you're switching phones. And within 5 minutes, *228 your new phone and you're set. ;)

Yep, if you're going from a phone like the 8100 you can easily use the ESN changer on VZW's account page. Sometimes when going to a camera phone to a non-camera phone or vice versa there are problems with switching online. With this you should be fine.
