Music - I need suggestions

Ok,

I enjoy listening to music and all... but I dont really know that many artists, so I don't know what to buy/download.

I like rap, top 40/pop, urban.. like the stuff on the iTunes radio under those labels.

Can some people point me to some stuff that I'd like?

P.S. I'm starting to like Rock (sorta like Creed)

Theres a new rock group out called finch who are really good. Also, if you're into hip-hop, one of the best underground artists who is about to make it big is atmosphere. Yeah, he's white but he doesn't sound anything like eminem.

The Police = Win!
Ben Fold's Five (actually, you may like them)
Tori Amos
Cake
Dixie Dregs

Check out those bands. Some you may like more than others, but all of them have a "pop" quality about them at times.

Ok. King Crimson doesn't. They're actually more in the "atonal" category. But check them out anyway.

after seeing so many awful artists in the other thread, this is the one you should listen to, guitargeek is right.
