Bizarrely enough I was looking at these earlier today and couldn't bring myself to buy one because of the cost. I'm thinking of getting myself a wireless ethernet bridge instead as they're a lot cheaper and will do the job fine. You might want to look into one of those instead.

Yeah in Ireland it costs €80 (over $100)...:o :(

I bought one with some traded in xbox titles just after launch. Works great with airport, but would be nicer if they were half the cost, it's only a frigging usb 54g adapter which cost like $30 for a pc....

Microsoft charges so much because it costs them probably about 10 dollars to make one and they're selling at 100.

I guess that way they can recoup the costs of making the 360 console itself.

They make a linksys one that can be used for all consoles, i guess its' pretty good from what I hear...and it's 49 dollars...you guys may want to look into that.
