I bought an old Microsoft Sidewinder 3d Pro at a thrift store for my old Mac, and was hoping that I could find the software online to use it, but unfortunately MS no longer has it on their servers and all I can find there is an old FAQ that links me to the same places Versiontracker and Macupdate take me; absolutely no-where on the MS website.

So can anyone help me out with some sugestions or am I just SOL?

As long as you are running it in OS9, the inputsprocket should help, so should the Sidewinder extension that is installed by default on installation. In OSX there are several programs, but I'm not familar with them. Perhaps some one else, I cannot get my Gravis Gamepad to work in OSX, but it works great in OS9. No drivers required, just make sure you have all those "sprocket" extensions installed.
