Print Sharing - Windows XP Printer -> Mac OS X 10.2.4

I have searched and found nothing significant.

how do i share a printer on a windows machine to a mac machine (or two). I do not have a clue as i can probably bet my bank account on apple and windows not using the same protocol.

If the printer has a driver for mac, you should be able to set up CUPS printer sharing on the PC, and the mac should recognize this.. I have never tried it, but it should work.

thankyou i will try that ASAP.

i had not even found anything so detailed. this is what is missing on the other print sharing pages - what software is needed and how to make it all work together. isnt it wierd though, my hp is a DJ710C or according wxp pro - a DJ720C - lol
