WoW is acting up...

I just got WoW, and so far it's great. However, I just tried to log on, and there are some...problems. I enter my account name and password, and it recognizes it, but it keeps showing the cancel screen. It still knows the realm I'm on, but it seems like it's forcing me to create a new character. Did my character get erased? What's wrong with it?

sounds like the servers down. Just wait a bit (i know, it's hard) and it'll get up and running. Everything you got should be A-Okay.

But on the flip side, i've been WoW free for almost 4 months, and I feel great.
