Hi all,
I am looking to get any Mac Mini model. Specs are not super important to me, as the key for me is size (and price). I am planning on using it as a permanent computer in my high school classroom for use in presenting Powerpoint/Keynote presentations among other tasks. The size is key to me as I will need to unhook it daily and throw it in my briefcase (so it is not stolen during the night). The 1.25 GHz model would be plenty sufficient for me, ideally I would like a model that has 512mb of ram (I can upgrade it later it if is not already there) and has at least a 40GB HD (enough space for all of my files and music for the class). Bluetooth would be a big bonus as it would allow me to use my BT mouse for a remote to use in the slideshows). Software, original packaging and AppleCare and not really important at all. I have licensed copies of all of the software I need, and I don't expect AppleCare or the other bonuses for me, as I need cheap. PM me and let me know what you have, or leave a message here. Thanks.
Jason

how is that possible? Weren't the 1.5ghz all SD?
Anyways, I have a FS thread as well - 1.42gha, 1gb, 80gb, SD, AE... BT USB adaptor I could part with perhaps. 15" LCD as well.

I am still looking guys. I have found a couple on Craigslist near me (and also budapple's), but they all sold before I got a chance to buy it. Does anyone have one? I am looking in the $300-$400 range. Thanks.

No. I have a 1.5GHz PPC Mini with a combo drive. However, mine was one of the silently upgraded ones. Ordered a 1.42, got a 1.5.

hey, here is one that might be worth looking at (it's on MacNN):
1.42Ghz Mini, 1GB RAM, 80gb HD, Combo drive for only $325 shipped. (http://forums.macnn.com/59/marketplace/308933/1-42ghz-macmini-1-gb-ram/)

Did something fall through with your sale? If it is still available let me know. Also how long would it take for you to get the mini ready to ship to me? I live in Michigan and really need it soon.

That looks to be a pretty good deal. Definetly right in my price range too. Now I need to register an account over there and get some more info. Thanks!

Obviously I CAN'T! 'Cause I don't see what your getting at Virus1?
The OP states he/she is looking on craigs list at machines in the 300-400$ price range, so I post my spare MM shipped for 450$. I don't see the big deal in my posting and anyone knows at that price it's a bargin, the fedex shipping alone is close to 20$.
