Is anybody else really, really excited to see how this game turns out?

All in black and white and no menu interface; it's like playing in a movie. I'll probably rent before I buy, but still. Looks great.

Looks a bit like one of those old laserdisc games. A movie choose your own adventure. I think its probably a renter. Could be really good/fun once.

I'm very interested about it. I love artsy games. (Next stop: Okami) Can't wait to see "actual" gameplay footage. We've seen some video but I want to know more. (Where is FedNet when we need it) I hope the game's ambiance will be as spooky as the original Alone in the Dark.
i.Feature: Beautiful morning in Montreal isn't it ;)
Nibris got my attention with Sadness and Raid Over the River (Yeah! Vertical shooter goodness!)

Sadness reminds me of this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D_(video_game)) game.
Looks promising, to say the least.

I think the term is 'interactive cinema'.

Yay, someone else remembers D. That game was a classic.
Sadness looks really cool. I'm actually suprised that Atlus didn't land the publishing rights. It would be in line with this (http://www.atlus.com/cgi-bin/games?action=details&game_id=63) If Nintendo can land more games like this, who knows, I may even consider getting a Wii instead of a PS3. This is certainly one of the more promising next-gen titles I've seen.

Hmm… doubtful.
From Nibris' website, under the "Platforms" tab:
We support only consoles of the company which brought games to life - Nintendo. Not because we are blind fans of this firm, but because the philosophy and path chosen by this company suits us the most…
…Unless they've changed their stance recently, I don't see it coming to the PS3. Also, it seems to make intense use of the Wiimote:

I'm very much looking forward to this. I've been getting a huge kick out of these sort of games. Lost in Blue and Another Code. Loving it :)

Don't know how this slipped under my radar, thanks for the post. This definitely looks like a fairly cool game, I can't wait for it. I will rent before I buy or instead of buying depending on how good it is. There's just too many great games coming out for my wallet to keep up.
