Hello everyone!
A friend of mine is looking to get a nice shiny Mac after his Dell crapped out on him a few weeks ago, so I offered to buy one for him. The deal will be made completely through me, so no need to worry about a middle-man screwing things over.
Options are flexible...just looking for a nice laptop for school around the $1000 range. Preferably a 15" PowerBook with at least a year of AppleCare left, but again, we're flexible.
I would prefer someone in Canada (save on shipping and duty), but I know that's not likely. I've never had a problem with anyone on the MR marketplace yet, so no worries there either. I've dealt with members iHotu (programming books), gman71882 (laptop hard drive), getbigg21 (DVD's), budugu (digital camera), and biohazard6969 (Lombard PowerBook). My eBay ID is synchroverge.
Thanks for your interest! Please post or PM any offers!

I have a 15" 1.67ghz October 2005 Powerbook
Some other specs: 100gb 7200rpm hard drive, 8x dual layer superdrive (not on the Macbook Pro as of yet) and 2gb DDR2 4200 RAM (Maxed out)
I bought it in October of 2005 but without Apple Care, yet if you buy it from me you can still purchase Apple Care up until October 2006.
I have Office 2004 and iLife 06 with it,* I plan on throwing it up on eBay but I might be up for selling it on here.* My selling this depends on if they release a new Merom (core 2 duo) Macbook Pro this month (the sept 12th event) because I need a faster machine.* This machine worked great for the past year but I am a professional network technician and I have given it a few bumps.
It has a dented right side and the keyboard seems a bit noisy from all the dust that has gotten in there.
The screen is the brightest of all the G4 Powerbooks and the battery life is still around 3.5 hours on a full charge.* I am currently testing the Leopard beta rollup 1 on it and its doing great in every aspect of the new features.*
I live in Cleveland Ohio and my ebay ID is lane0185

Very interesting :) For how much are you considering letting it go? (Assuming they release the Merom MacBook Pro...)

I am hoping for $1100 - 1300 but I'll be realistic that its going to be a year old and the Intel chips are much much faster.
Here is some of the damage.
