I'm going to (probably) be building myself a PC over the summer.

I'm not going to use it as my main computer, but simply as a 3D animation Box in addition to my Dual 1.25 G4....

I looked at this thread, just in case...maybe I would just buy this....but I need to wait and see what my situation is in about a month before I can buy anything for the system.

I would say about $300-350 seems about fair. My brother build a similar box. 1ghz, 512mb, SB 5.1, Geforce 4mx 64mb, etc for a couple hundred. What is the video card? That could add some value.

i would say about 400, since you have the large hdd, and a good amount of DDR ram. peripherals btw rarely add much nowadays.

for similar machines on eBay.
