about users folders and polls

so i had two questions...one that spawned from the other so i thought i would ask them in the same thread.

1. i was wondering how many of you have your data and applications in your users folder or in a different folder on your root directory.

2. i was wondering how you can make polls cause i was going to do that.

basically i'd like to see what people think are advantages/disadvantages are of having your data on certain spots on your computer.

btw: i'd like to add that this is for a computer with only 1 user.

all data should be on a seperate partition from the system files.

I'm assuming you're talking about polls in these forums...

They've been disabled because some members have abused them in the back (one of which has left Macrumors for awhile) maybe I should ask for them to return....

Yeah they had a feature way way way back but polls have been closed for a while.

basically if you want to have a non-specific poll best chance is that macpoll website...

We should think about putting them back in tho.
