Two Xbox 360 VGA connections (Go on, humour me :P)

Right so two questions

Is the VGA connection a male connection? (So I can plug straight into my monitor)

and

The audio connection comes with two phono plugs - does this include an adapter to take a standard speaker setup (i.e. so I can use my speakers with a 3.5mm stereo jack) or do I need another piece of kit to use my speakers?

And the adapters are females. Males = Pins, females = Holes. Get it? :D

If someone could verify that it actually does come with the adapters that'd be great. From what I've read, all you get is the cable. Which would suck a lot because my CRTs cable doesnt detach, so I'd have to hunt down a gender changer.

I'm intrigued what's in the little green bag I have to say - it's this darned audio connection that's got me baffled right now. I have a converter to take it to a 3.5mm (1/8th) male jack but that's no good for pluggng a set of speakers into obviously...hmmm.

You need an RCA Female to 3.5mm Female adapter. You should be able to pick one up from Wal-Mart or Radio Shack for a few bucks . If you can't find one of those, use an RCA Male to 3.5mm Female adapter with the RCA Couplers to connect the XBox to the Adapter

Because my "TV" is really a 27" CRT computer monitor that does 800x600 with a HTPC with a TV tuner, so I can just plug my 360 when I get it into my VGA switchbox alongside the computer and my Dreamcast.
