Ok this is tough for me to say, but my fiancee left me this morning, and in a heinous way as well, I went out to walk the dog this morning as she didnt have time because she was running late for work, so while Im done stairs I see her getting in her car and leaving so I go to go back upstairs and she had locked the door behind her, this was pretty crappy in its own right and I just assumed it was an accident so I went down to the leasing office to get someone to open the door, but apparently they have this rule where they require ID to open an apartment and of course I had none, as well as no money on me to pay the $25 fee! :( so I used the phone in the office and called my mom and even though we have the same last name they still wouldnt do it so I went over to her house until I could get a hold of my fiancee. Anyways, there was no answer at her work and I didnt hear from her until 3 o'clock and I told her what happened, she didnt even seem to care but said she had left it unlocked when she came home for lunch so I should be able to get in now, I replied that she shouldnt have left it unlocked because someone could have walked in and out with all our stuff but I was lucky she did, she just laughed and said "hah, all the stuff, yep..." and hung up. so anyways my mother brought me adn my dog home and I was shocked, almost all of my stuff was gone, my TV and video equipment, movies and music, my furniture, and worst of all my mac :( This day was going bad enough and figured someone actually did steal everything, and then I saw the note on the fridge, she and some friends took everything. she met someone else and doesnt want to hear from me nor did she say where she went, and now I have nothing, Im at my moms house again typing on her HP.
I dont know what to do, I dont have enough money to replace everything I owned now, especially my iMac which isnt even a year old. please if anyone can spare some money, please contact me, I have heard about people being able to generate some donations from websites so I thought I would try here first as I dont the means to put up a new site right now. I have a paypal account so if you can help Ill give you the info.
Thank you guys so much, I know the community here is filled with great people and hope I can get some help, if not though thats ok because the blame doesnt lay on any of you.
Thanks gang.

You need to file a police report ASAP. I know she was your fiance and all, but what she did is not legal. You should get a lawyer and track her down using any legal means.
This is no time to lie down and take the kick in the balls she just delt you. Fight her inhumane behavior. Fight back!

It's probably enough to go for grand theft.
Don't settle for anything less than a conviction, and a felony on her record.
You'd be surprised the problems that'll cause people later in life. ;)
Plus the monetary damages you can get later when you file a civil suit, and the number of years you can drag people through hell, is just lovely. The number of times you get to garnish wages and seize money in bank accounts, makes it so worthwhile.

listen, right, he seems to love you, and well, I can understand you might not want 2 be with him, and you might have found this easiest, but what is the point in hurting him like this? This is really bitchy, I lost my girlfriend of 5 months the other week, killed me, i couldn't eat for a few days, couldn't and still can't sleep properly and it was horrible, i became a slob, and the pain i experience was more than i have ever felt before in my life.
Now lucky, her and I r still good friends, but hell, it still hurts, and it probably will do forever, but please don't make it worse for him (it hurt more than any physical pain) and well, give him reasons so he doesn't make this mistake again. Stay friends (if that is possible after what has been said and done)
(btw, i am still not sure if this is a joke or not :S)

ok ok, you got me, I was going to let this go on for much longer, but after ensign paris spoke of his recent break-up I couldnt. It's just a joke guy, and in bad taste I admit but so were Andy Kaufman's.....anyways the truth behind the story is this:
This morning it was me who was late to work and my lovely fiancee Jessica who was taking the dog out, in my rush I locked the door behind me and went to work, sadly Jessi went out with no jacket on and it was pretty chilly this morning, our leasing office doesnt open until 9am and this was at 6:45am so she had to call the emergency number we have for such incidents, luckily a neighbor let her call, but here is were it gets funny, the guy came though not for 35-49 mins and when he did he wouldnt unlock the door because she had no ID! she convinced him that she could show him ID as soon as he opened the door so he was going to, but then she asked "you'll take a check right?" and of course no they only take cash, and we dont really keep cash around, so she says that she threw a big "fake" breakdown for the man about it and in the end he let her open the door so she could let our dog Sebastian inside and was able to get her keys and wallet and he stayed there until she went to the atm and came back with the cash, though I think her crying were probably real because Ive been in a similar incident with my car and its pretty tough. Anyways she was pretty damn cold and upset by the time she got in and called me up at work to give me a little hell about it, but she had every right to even though it was just an accident, shes fine now and is already laughing about it so I got the idea, albeit a sick one to fabricate a story for april fools, Ive never done an april fools joke so if I went too far, Im sorry.
thanks for those who pm'd and emailed me, didnt mean to take advantage of your emotions like that.

oh man I'm so sorry, I meant no harm in the joke ensign, all I can say about your situation is that at least you guys are still friends right now and if you are indeed "meant" for each other it will happen again, you see me and my fiancee Jessica have known each other for going on six years, but there was a long time when we were not together, actually there are three periods and two of which we didnt even talk to each other, but it all worked out in the end because we love each other more than we could love anyone else. If she loves you in that way, then you two will make ammends, but if not then it's probably for the better and sooner or later you will be able to move on.
Take care ensign, I feel horrible for bringing out these thoughts in you.
I was writing the above post about this thread being a joke and didn't notice that you guys had checked the IP's, so just so you know I was going to admit it once I had read ensigns post, but good work anyways guys.

their first cd origin has gone for 200-300 bucks on ebay... and the band itself, just actually amy and ben [the only ones signed] disregard it as not even a real album... theyve said publicly to just download it and save the cash... amy sounds like the girl that sings for my band... too bad we arent ready to cash in on Ev's recent success yet... hahhaha... go buy the cd its only like ten bucks and support the band!!!!
and no they dont sound like linkin park with a girl....

I do plan to have the album, but because of a tight budget within the family (I'll leave it at that), I'll have to wait before I have the album.
As for being >the first good music on the radio in years<, Coldplay is also quality. But I guess that depends on opinion.

Hey, where are our manners? Welcome to MacRumors, womanscorned. Be sure to read the FAQ (http://forums.macrumors.com/misc.php?s=&action=faq). I understand you have an iMac. Note that it is spelled iMac, not Imac. If you need any help with it, just ask. And you might want to consider joining the seti or folding teams, at least until the lawyers make you give the iMac back to your former fiancé.

You broke the law.
Does anybody know what penal code he broke?
And since this was a fraudulent national solicitation for money, does this mean we're supposed to call the FBI internet fraud division?
Don't worry you'll get a state paid honeymoon quite soon, behind bars.

That truck RULES! I can't wait until I get a car with a V8 again, there's just nothing like it. I'm going to drive around with the AC on, windows down, eating greasy McDonald's hamburgers out of the old styrofoam containers, just to drive everyone nuts. ;)

Yeah... I get that a lot.
I'm kinda serious, though. Some people don't get how much fun is to be had making a fast car go faster. When you do the right things to a big V8, you can get the gas mileage that smaller cars get, as well. That's why I kinda get peeved about the V8 == BAD! thing I hear around where I live.

When I owned a small compact car, I was the jerk who would make it a point to park next to people who hogged two spaces, unless their car/truck was in worse shape than mine. :D Of course, its hard to do than in a mini van, so I don't do it any more. :(

A positive attitude along with prayer brings about a cure for many cancer patients. Studies show that both do have an affect on the immune system. In the end the body is our best defense against cancer or any other disease!

It's interesting how a placebo will work just as well as the real medication. The power of positive thinking, the body produces it's own endorphins.:)

You have to pray, believe, and have faith! Jesus said "By your faith you shall be healed! Our prayers are not always answered the way we want them, we must let God be God!
